Welcome to

Old Moon Hollow

Join us for a spell, won’t you?

This clearing in the misty hollow offers a glimpse into my wyrd mind where fantasy, lore, and a love of art meet in a little darkened nook. If you enjoy your dreamy stroll here and wish to keep a small memento of the Old Moon Hollow, art prints and other small treasures are beckoning…

Art Goblin & Eclectic Conjurer

of Curious Creations

Hi, I’m Cate and sometimes the gremlin squirrels in my brain make things with these tired, old talons. My work is a wee bit erratic and questionable at best, but I love portraiture, watercolors, wood burning, and digital painting. I find solace exploring themes and characters in dark folklore, classic literature, haunting fairy tales, and long forgotten history.

From Cate to Cazerin to Hecaterine, I’ve gone by many names across many spheres, but all of my original art is signed CAZ – Cate A. Zeederberg. Earlier work may be signed CA.

Gremlins doing gremlin things

You know that feeling when an idea suddenly SPARKS and every little nook in your brain lights up to chase it down? Yeah, I love that. My particular raccoon-like disposition is rather mischievous though, often turning the cog in my ever-distracted noggin’ and sometimes chasing multiple spark snacks at once or… well, we end up on an entirely different path altogether because side quests feel equally important.

So, when we’re talking about the artistic process of gremlins (that is what we’re talking about here, right??), we’re basically talking about the steps taken… and about one’s ability to stay on track… to see those steps through.

I don’t know much about all that, but I do know that we (me and my gremlins) always get there in the end 👍
