A portrait study of Christine and Erik from the musical-inspired classic novel, Phantom of the Opera and a subtle homage to my favorite memento mori trope, Death and the Maiden. Scrawled together with my tired, old talons over several months of starting, restarting, rearranging, and finally succumbing to this inevitable iteration which I’ve concluded will never be complete.
